ILS Manager (m/w/d)

On behalf of our client, a reference in the defense automotive industry, we are seeking an ILS Manager with the motivation to plan and implement support services and the implementation of design change for a great opportunity in UAE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Integrated Logistics Manager is responsible for overall integrated support planning of the company programs, for project/product level integrated support planning, identification of support requirements, reliability & supportability analyses and creating appropriate reports, also for developing the ILS function inside engineering organization. Your responsibilities: • Fully accountable for effective management and control of life cycle planning and calculations to support the development & delivery projects within budget according to agreed specifications. • Responsible for the development of the ILS planning function inside engineering. • Supportability Analysis. • Reliability, Maintainability, Availability & Testability Analysis (RM&T), including: 1. Data Recording and Corrective Action System (DRACAS) analysis. • Maintenance Planning. • Supply Support Planning (in conjunction with Project Sourcing and including Obsolescence Management). • Training and Training Support (in conjunction with the Training Manager). • Asset and Configuration Management (in conjunction with the CM team). • Support and Test Equipment Planning. • ILS Resource Planning & Management. • In-Service Support Planning (including Computer Resources Support). • Technical Information and Data (including Technical Publications and the Logistics Information Repository). • Appropriate MoD, NATO, ASD, National and International standards • Conduct of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, & Testability (RAMT) analyses. • Analysis, evaluation and testing of integrated support requirements to determine if the ILS and SA concepts satisfy the support requirements. • Ensure ILS function is fully updated with appropriate market methodology. • Clear communication with stakeholders for project planning and customer communication needs. • Contribution of ILS input to all proposals, projects, and operations work. • Producing and delivering the ILS Plan to meet the Program commitments. • Ensuring alignment of ILS between the program and client. • Provide ILS technical input and support evaluation of tenders. • Program, document and deliver all ILS aspects. • Ensure that ILS fully integrated into the company planning and design methodology. • Interact with supporting functions to ensure successful project delivery and support. • Close liaison and partnership with Contractors to ensure relevant and updated requirements are catered for. • Manage ILS program efforts to ensure the integration of support considerations into the design process. • Evaluate sustainment concepts to determine if concepts satisfy business and customer goals. • Prepare cost estimates and technical writing in support of proposal development efforts. • Participate in proposal development. • Is responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing: 1.Logistic Support Analysis 2.Sparing analysis 3.Training programs 4.Life Cycle Cost / Level of Repair Analyses 5.Provisioning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Production). • ≥ 8 years of experience in implementing ILS management concepts. • Experience in delivering of communications services for large multi-bearer networks. • Proven track record in similar role, managing teams and processes and working to tight timescales. • Ability to demonstrate best practice ILS discipline required for service provision, project design and delivery. • Advanced knowledge with ILS Management and automotive configuration and ordering systems, computer literacy and English language (oral and written). • Familiarity with basic product release terms and processes and performance requirements (strength, stiffness, crash). • Demonstrated ability to produce data driven decisions & produce results. • Intermediate knowledge with experience in Line Management, engineering policies and procedures, and risk management. • Strong decision-making and problem-solving, planning and organizing skills. • Good focus in customer & community, negotiation & influence, result-orientation, accountability, attitudes & ethics, working together and communication.
